Shanghai focuses on the development of high-end manufacturing, modern services, and financial industries, while Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province provide strong support in traditional manufacturing, emerging industries, and e-commerce. This division of labor and cooperation not only enhances the overall competitiveness of the region but also promotes the upgrading of industries in each place.

In addition, cultural exchanges between Shanghai and surrounding areas are also deepening. Through joint organization of cultural activities, exhibitions, and festivals, the cultural connotations of the Yangtze River Delta region are further enriched, and the sense of identity and belonging of the people in the region is enhanced.
